Restoring my Grandmother's Table Fan

In an effort to revive my grandmother's memory, I disassembled her old table fan, got the motor serviced and cleaned.

I sanded the housing and rotor, repainted with aluminium based paint

Reassembled and replaced the power cord to bring it to a new life.

A little touch was added by painting a black spiral onto the rotor center to resemble a jet engine.

Having grown out of my old guitar, I felt like making a show sculpture out of it and pull it out storage.

I removed the strings and bridge, used varnish remover to scrape to the wood surface.

I followed by sanding it and repainted in black acrylic paint.

Ghost highlights were painted onto in white using a paper stencil.

Adding a clear spray coat to protect the paint, it turned out to be a nice addition to the living room corner.

CD Sculpture

Having gone obsolete, I used an old mound of CD drives to create wall sculptures.

CDs were arranged in an array using waste-paper as a backing layer and an electric guitar, a saxophone were sketched onto them with black permanent marker

Foam Modelling

Fiddling on a Saturday afternoon shortly after moving into a new flat, I felt prompted to make use of the packaging styro-foam lying around. We cut the foam into blocks, sanded it and assembled them into a 50s' F1 car model.
